Available Courses

Below are the courses we currently offer. All of our courses are taught by a Trainer with real and current experience. If you would like any more information about our courses, please get in touch.

Our courses take place in our purpose designed training suite which is set up to create realistic scenarios which allow for hands-on learning that better prepares you and your staff for an emergency. We also offer in-house training at your premises.

We don’t routinely run stand alone Basic Life Support, or Moving and Handling courses. We run them together as a combined course. If you need a single BLS or M+H course, get in touch. We also offer a complimentary Mandatory Training Package at no cost to you, after each M+H and BLS. This includes Pressure Damage Awareness,  Infection Prevention and Control and Fire Safety in Healthcare.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that sometimes unexpected things come up and you may need to cancel your place on a training course. If you can’t attend or no longer require your place, please provide us with at least 5 working days notice. Failure to provide the required notice may result in you not receiving a refund. You can contact us here

Lateness Policy

We understand that sometimes unexpected things come up and you may be late for your training course. Our lateness policy states that anyone more than 15 minutes late for training may not be permitted entry into training and may not be entitled to rebook or a refund. This is solely for patient and colleague safety reasons, as someone that doesn’t complete the full training may have missed out on important training that could impact the safety of patients and other staff.

Customer Review

I really enjoyed the ECG training. David is a great trainer and made me feel at ease. He explained everything in detail and was very helpful.

Lynn, HCA

Loved the training today. Very hands on and realistic to real life scenarios, both in and out of the clinical setting.

Fay, Student Nurse

At my 1 Day Band 2 to Band 3 Upskilling course the trainer explained everything in an in depth and simple way. I feel more confident after the course. I highly recommend Paragon Healthcare Academy.

Alexandra, HCA

I have completed the Cannulation course. I had already completed a course over Zoom during lockdown and can honestly say that I didn't have the confidence to try a cannula until after this course. The trainer let us all practice on the simulation arms as much as we wanted and I didn't feel rushed.

Craig, Staff Nurse
