Paragon Healthcare Academy

**1. Payment and Invoicing: 

1.1. All invoices are to be paid within 28 days from the date of the invoice, unless agreed otherwise in  advance.  

1.2. Failure to make payment within the stipulated timeframe may result in additional charges or  suspension of services. 

**2. Certificate Release: 

2.1. Certificates will be held by Paragon Healthcare Academy until the full invoice amount is paid. 2.2. Upon settlement of the invoice, certificates will be released to the client. 

2.3. An exception to this can be made upon request, at the discretion of Paragon Healthcare Academy.  2.4. Replacement certificates can be provided upon request. A fee may apply for the issuance of  replacement certificates. 

**3. Name Changes on Certificates: 

3.1. In the event that a client requests a name change on a certificate, Paragon Healthcare Academy  reserves the right to charge a fee for this service. 

3.2. If the need for a name change arises due to the client’s error or negligence, the client will be  responsible for covering any associated fees. 

**4. Price Changes: 

4.1. The prices for our training services may change over time due to various factors. 4.2. In the event of a price change, Paragon Healthcare Academy will notify clients in advance of the  change and provide an updated price list. 

4.3. Clients will be informed about the effective date of the price change and will have the option to accept  or decline the updated prices. 

**5. Course Cancellations: 

5.1. Paragon Healthcare Academy is committed to delivering training without cancellation due to low  numbers. 

5.2. In the rare instance of a class cancellation, clients will be notified promptly and provided with  alternative options. 

**6. Closed Course Minimum Participants: 

6.1. For closed courses organized by clients, there is a minimum number of participants required as  specified by Paragon Healthcare Academy. 

6.2. If the client does not meet the minimum participant requirement, they may be subject to charges  equivalent to the minimum number of participants. 

**7. Liability: 

7.1. Paragon Healthcare Academy takes full responsibility for the quality and accuracy of the training  provided.

7.2. In the event of any issues arising during our training, Paragon Healthcare Academy will be liable for  any direct damages caused as a result of our negligence. 

7.3. Paragon Healthcare Academy maintains appropriate liability insurance to cover potential claims arising  from the provision of training services.  

7.4. Participants acknowledge that certain training exercises may involve the use of real medical  equipment and practicing skills on themselves and other participants.  

7.5. Paragon Healthcare Academy is not liable for any problems, injuries or damages that may arise from  these exercises, if not carried out as instructed.  

**8. Professional Facilitators: 

8.1. All training sessions will be conducted by current healthcare professionals. 

8.2. Trainers possess the necessary qualifications and experience to provide effective and accurate  training. 

**9. Compliance and Standards: 

9.1. Paragon Healthcare Academy commits to regularly review and update its training programs to adhere  to the current requirements set by the Northern Ireland Health and Social Care Trusts and Resuscitation  Council UK guidelines, as well as other relevant professional standards. 

**10. Reasonable Adjustments: 

10.1. Paragon Healthcare Academy is dedicated to providing an inclusive learning environment.  10.2. Reasonable adjustments will be made to training sessions to accommodate individuals with specific  needs or disabilities. Clients are encouraged to communicate their requirements in advance. 

**11. Training Assessment: 

11.1. Successful completion of the training program requires full participation and completion of both the  theory and practical modules. 

11.2. Paragon Healthcare Academy reserves the right to withhold certification from individuals who do not  meet the required standards in both theory and practical assessments. 

**12. Safety and Competence: 

12.1. Paragon Healthcare Academy prioritizes the safety and competence of all participants. 12.2. If, during the training, an individual is deemed unsafe to practice, they will not be allowed to proceed  further and will be provided with guidance for improvement before reattempting the training. 12.2. If after further guidance an individual is still deemed unsafe to continue, they will not be allowed to  continue training and will not receive a certificate.  

  1. 3. By booking and attending training, you are declaring that you are well and medically fit to take part.  

**13. Freebies and Products: 

13.1. Paragon Healthcare Academy may provide freebies and offer products for sale during courses, such  as first aid kits and pen torches. 

13.2. Clients acknowledge that the use of these items is at their own risk, and Paragon Healthcare  Academy is not liable for any damage or injury resulting from their use. 

**14. Cancellation and Rescheduling: 

14.1. Individuals that book training are required to provide Paragon Healthcare Academy with a minimum  of 5 days’ notice if they wish to cancel or reschedule a training session or a place on a course.

14. 2. Companies that book for their staff and pay via invoice may have a different minimum notice period  for cancellations as agreed in advance.

14.3. Paragon Healthcare Academy reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee of up to 100% for  sessions cancelled with inadequate notice or no shows.  

**15. eLearning: 

15.1. Paragon Healthcare Academy facilitates a wide range of eLearning training courses through an online  platform.  

15.2. Use of our eLearning will be on a monthly subscription or Pay-as-You-go basis.  15. 3. There is no minimum term for the monthly subscription, and no refunds will be offered for Pay-as You-go.  

15.4. All invoices are to be paid within 28 days from the date of the invoice. 

15.5. Failure to make payment within the stipulated timeframe may result in additional charges or  suspension of services, as well as admin and learner accounts being locked.  

**16. Confidentiality: 

16.1. Any information shared during the training sessions will be treated as confidential and will not be  disclosed without the participant’s consent, except as required by law. 

**17. Governing Law: 

17.1. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland and the United Kingdom. 

By engaging with Paragon Healthcare Academy for its training services, clients acknowledge and agree to  abide by these terms and conditions.
